Did you get a pimple with pus? It is an unsightly mark that can be made to disappear with simple steps but, first of all, you should avoid using all the means to touch it with your fingers, something that we have very ingrained in these moments and that, nevertheless, the only thing that causes is that it becomes infected even more the area and make its appearance worse. Therefore, never touch it with your fingers, no matter how white it is! In this article, we are going to give you the keys so that you learn how to get rid of pimples with pus in a hygienic way and that it will not appear again. Take note!

1. Go to an aesthetic

Surely if you have ever gone to an aesthetic to do a face cleaning you will have noticed that, before starting with the treatment, the beautician has applied vapors on your face or mist. The reason for this previous step is that the heat that comes off softens the skin and therefore facilitates the process of extracting the infection.

So, before starting with the extraction of the grain in question, it will be essential that your skin is soft and, for this, it is best that you do it when you have left the shower, at which time your skin is perfect to clean it.

2. Use cotton ball and Alcohol

To remove a grain of pus you will have to use a cotton ball and impregnate it with alcohol. Apply it to the area where the grain is and around it to get the skin clean before popping the granite. The most recommended is that you wait until the pus is seen enough to proceed to its extraction because, otherwise, it is possible that it costs you a lot (and it hurts) to clean it in depth. Keep in mind that the more mature you are, the better you can get out.

Above all: never do it with your fingers! Keep in mind that no matter how hard you wash your hands, bacteria live on your skin that could penetrate your skin and cause more infection. You always have to do it with a cotton or gauze that is bathed in alcohol. Squeeze until you see that the first drop of blood appears, this will be the indicator that will tell us that we have already removed all the pus that had accumulated.

In the case that your grain is very infected, it may be that it hurts too much to press directly with your fingers. In this case, you can help with a needle and get rid of the pus that is stored in the skin. If you opt for this method it will also be essential that you have bathed the needle with alcohol to sterilize it.

Once your grain is free of pus, it is important that you re-apply the gauze or cotton on top of it to clean and disinfect the area. If necessary, you can use a new gauze and bathe it in cotton so that the result is impeccable.

Once the grain of pus has been removed, it is necessary to close the pore so that no other bacteria that can re-infect the bacteria is released. To achieve this, it will be enough to apply a little purifying tonic or an astringent product in the area (lemon or a green clay mask can be used).

Natural treatments to reduce inflammation

After cleaning the pus, your skin will be flushed for a few more days due to the pressure you have made, it may even become inflamed. In order to reduce inflammation and get the cure as soon as possible, you can choose to use any of these natural treatments :

  • Ice: it is one of the most suitable home remedies to help deflate any part of the body that has been damaged. You will have to put a handful of ice cubes inside a plastic bag or wrapped in a cloth and then apply it on the area where you have the grain and let it act for about 10 minutes.
  • Fluoride toothpaste: Fluoride will help reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process. To achieve this, it will only be enough to apply a little toothpaste in the area and let it dry; then clean with plenty of water and repeat during the day until you see that it improves.
  • Lemon with salt: lemon is an acidic and astringent ingredient, so it will help us clean the area. If we mix it with salt, another ideal product to purify, we get a natural tonic that will achieve a deep cleansing of the skin.

If your skin usually has pimples, it is essential that you begin to treat it with the necessary care. A greasy skin with a tendency to suffer from acne requires that you wash your face daily (morning and night) with a neutral soap or “oil-free”, in this way, you can remove any remaining dirt that may have been impregnated in the pores and, therefore, prevent it from entering the pore and producing pus.

It will also be necessary that, at least once a week, you perform an exfoliation of the skin of the face to cleanse the dead cells that are responsible for covering the pores and, therefore, cause the appearance of acne.
